On the background of the economical and geo-political changes that Europe is undergoing at this moment, the close economic relations between the two countries seem to be a must. Romania and Cyprus discovered in each other a great economic potential, a good start for any type of business activities and, last but not least, a reliable partner.

The commercial exchanges between these two countries grew rapidly in the past few years and the need to have a solid base and a common ground for the bilateral relations appeared. Following this naturally emerged “necessity”, a group of Cypriot and Romanian bold businessmen came up with the idea of creating a bilateral chamber of commerce and industry and quite soon they also put it into practice.
