Purpose

The Chamber charges fees for the services rendered, differently, in accordance with the quality of member or not member of the applicant.

The Chamber fulfills its attributions with its own staff. 

a) supports the development of commercial and industrial cooperation between its members and Romanian and Cypriot companies;
b) performs activities of commercial information and documentation;
c) supports the accomplishment of economical development and co-operation projects;
d) offers support for professional specialization of its members and other economic agents, as the case may be, depending on the Chamber interests;
e) offers support to economic agents for the accomplishment of import-export activities;
f) performs research activities for economic agents and physical individuals in the view of performing commercial activities;
g) initiates meetings and commercial contacts between Romanian and Cypriot economic agents, as well as business forums and other type of meetings that can help developing the co-operation between the two countries;
h) informs with priority its members, as well as any interested party, about regulations regarding the economic activity, about commercial, banking, custom and harbor common practices and about the trade opportunities between the two countries;
i) offers support for organization of specialized fairs and exhibitions;
j) publishes the Chamber’s Official Bulletin and other information publications related to its object of activity, publishes brochures, catalogues, folders, booklets and other similar publications of technical and commercial nature;
k) offers specialized consulting services to its members, free of charge;
l) promotes direct activities for developing the business on the two markets, intermediates for bank support for its members and other interested economic agents, at their request;
m) communicates the force majeure situations at the members’ request and at their Cypriot partners.
